Earthquake impacting Venezuela

In light of the recent earthquake impacting Venezuela, there are opportunities for our community to contribute to response and recovery efforts through remote support. One immediate need is assistance with virtual damage tagging, which helps provide rapid situational awareness to responders on the ground. This platform provides an overview of the tagging methodology and how volunteers can assist in evaluating and categorizing building damage remotely. Your expertise as structural engineers can play a meaningful role in helping prioritize response efforts and allocate resources effectively. This website is part of the EvalúaYa initiative, a tool designed to support earthquake response by helping assess structural risk and connect affected people with qualified engineers.
